2027 LDV T60 price and specs: More power and torque for less

LDV has launched its revised T60 ute with a more potent turbo-diesel engine and revised styling for less money than its predecessor.

The headline change in the 2027 T60 is the fitment of a 163kW/520Nm 2.5-litre turbo-diesel engine, shared with the larger Terron 9, that ups outputs from the outgoing model’s 2.0-litre turbo-diesel by 3kW/20Nm.

This makes the new T60 one of the most potent four-cylinder utes in its one-tonne ute class, outpunching the Ford Ranger, Isuzu D-Max, Kia Tasman, Mazda BT-50, Mitsubishi Triton, Nissan Navara, and Toyota HiLux.

Crucially though, LDV Australia has made the new T60 more affordable compared with the T60 Max it replaces, and cut available variants from three to two.

Kicking off the line-up is the T60 Pro, positioned at $39,989 drive-away, while the top-spec T60 Luxe is $45,253.

Business buyers with an Australian Business Number (ABN) can save $1999 on the Pro and $2263 on the Luxe, bringing prices down to $37,990 and $42,990 respectively.

For reference, the 2026 T60 Max range was available from $45,253 and extended to $53,674 for non-ABN customers.

Aside from the engine and price shuffle, the 2027 LDV T60 also sports a new front to keep styling in line with the Terron 9.

The infotainment screen has also been enlarged to 12.8-inches (up from 10.25-inches), while instrumentation is now displayed on an 8.0-inch all-digital screen.

Standard features include push-button start, a spray-in bedliner, 17-inch wheels, and a rear differential lock.

As well, a full suite of advanced safety systems such as autonomous emergency braking (AEB), adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, tyre pressure monitoring, and a driver fatigue monitor is included in every 2027 LDV T60.

Stepping up to the Luxe adds a proximity key, 18-inch wheels, multi-link rear suspension, front parking sensors, a front differential lock, fender flares, synthetic leather interior, and a sports bar.

Both variants are available in four colours – Blanc White, Metal Black, Concrete Grey, and Vivid Red – all of which incur a $500 premium except white.

In terms of payload, the Pro can haul up to 1040kg, while the Luxe drops that figure to 980kg.

Both variants are also able to tow a braked capacity of 3500kg.

Like all LDVs sold in Australia, the 2027 T60 comes with a seven-year/200,000km warranty.
